Court With Atticus

One day Jem, Dill, and I went to court with Jem. He was defending a negro named Tom Robinson. Atticus was nice and patient when he was asking the witnesses questions. When Mr.Gilmer asked Tom Robinson question he was rude and he acted very disrespectful. He also called him boy many times. That made Dill so angry that he started to get sick and cry.

I Think There's a Dill Under My bed

One day Jem and I got into a fight. I swung at Jem, but I missed. Jem punched me in my stomach and almost knocked all of the wind out of me. Jem got in trouble and Atticus sent him to his room. When i went to my room I heard something moving under my bed. I reached under the bed, but it moved back. I thought it was a snake so i asked Jem how do snakes feel. He came into my room and he found out that it waasnt a snake, but it was a human. He picked up the broom and he missed Dill's head by inches. When we found out that it was Dill, Jem told Atticus and he asked Dill's mother and father could he stay.

A Crazy Day

One day me, Jem, and Dill descided to go to the Radely house. We were trying to get past his fence to the backyard, but it was locked. We began to spit on the fence and it opened. When we were in the backyard Jem went up to the porch. Then we saw a man so we ran away from the house. We also heard a couple of gun shots. Jem's pants had came of when we crawled under a fence so he went back to get them while Atticus was asleep. When he got back he told me that they weren't stuck on the fence, but they were folded up.
